get to know me(not more than this )

My name is Misty Goes. 

To be very honest I actually don't like my name and there are reasons why. Firstly being such a simple and easy name people still pronounce my name wrong. Mind you my name is spelt as M-I-S-T-Y there's no H and I'm not Bengali neither am I named after Mishti Dohi. I'm not named after the fog or mist or anything and hence my username(might change my username later). Also my surname is pronounced as Go-ehz and not the literal 'goes' so don't ask me where I go, cause I get those lame dad jokes a lot. 

I'm finally 18 years old which felt like forever to actually be of legal age.

I enjoy spending time with friends. In my free time I like to listen to music or just binge watch movies.

Growing up with my elder cousin sister and a younger brother I was always treated as the middle child even though I'm the eldest. Personality wise I have traits of the middle child like being easy going, always being rebellious, being less perfectionist and more adaptable.

I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason.

I'm currently pursuing my Bachelors in hospitality management and seeing where life takes me.

I'm sure you'd agree with me that sometimes good things happen when you actually expect them the least. Then why is it that when things don't go as planned we overthink about what could have beens or sit and sulk about it. Thinking positive

 "Think positive" is more than just some motto or feel-good mantra. it's a powerful mindset that can transform our lives. Positive thinking involves focusing on the good in any situation. When we approach challenges with a positive attitude, we are more likely to find solutions and overcome those situations. My teacher once told my class that it's important to have control over our thoughts and that whatever we think in a way affects our reality. She also said those thoughts then become our spoken words which then ultimately occurs in real time emphasising the value of our thoughts. Shoutout to Ms. Merle for telling us this.
